I was planning on getting a new phone for christmas but there is a few which i was looking at and was wondering which one is the best value and which ones people have had problems with, the phones i was looking at are:

Nokia 6600 Slide
Nokia N96
Nokia N95
Nokia 7610 Supernova
Samsung F400
LG Viewty

I hate the Symbian OS so for that reason I would sway you away from the Nokia's immediately. Symbian is painfully slow and very unreliable.

If you're looking for a cheaper phone try the LG KC550, it has a 5 mega pixel camera and it is a very good phone.

I want a new one
I have a SE W910i at the mo with just under a year contract left, but have been offered an upgrade if I take out another 18 month contract. The phones they are offering for free upgrade are worse then what I have! and if I did want a brand new phone that cost 200 odd quid, then I would wait until my contract was up and go to somebody that would offer me that for free. Plus I am quite happy with my phone anyway, so wouldn't even want to pay for a new one.
