Good afternoon all, Simmo here.

So it looks like Andy Goldstein is out, and a man (who I have to say, is unknown to me) called Max Rushden is in, as the new co-presenter of our favourite Saturday morning show with Helen. I suppose we should wait until the show starts again to see what he's like, but one thing I do know is that it means I'm going to have to change some of the graphics and pages and remove Goldy. Thanks alot!

Anyway, in the meantime, here's the article on Sky's site - http://www.socceram.com/story/0,21644,13873_3676710,00.html

Hello everyone. Simmo here.
I've just tried to access the forums but they don't appear to be working. I don't know why, but rest assured I will let admin know right away!

Cheers.

[Edit 10.45pm GMT] The forums seem to be back up now. I didn't even have time to contact admin.

The Exclusive SoccerAM.net competition!

To celebrate the launch of the new site design we're having a competition for all members of our forum!

The competition aim is to recreate your favourite moment/sketch ever from SoccerAM. Whether its Tim's "Loser" walk down Oxford Street, Helen's fire-eating, Sheephead's Topless Weather or just a memorable moment from one of the guests. Anything is accepted, the crazier the better!

We also felt that such a competition deserved an extra special prize - no 'custom made sigs' or 'name tags' for the winner here (well, maybe them as well). The winner will win two tickets to see the show live at Sky's Studios in London . It'll also be a chance for you to meet the crew and presenters and see the famous SoccerAM set.

--------------
Rules of the competition:
- Entries to be sent to socceram.comp@gmail.com
- Entries must either be a picture or video (video prefered)
- By entering and submitting a video/picture, each entrant automatically gives permission for that entry to be displayed on the website
- Closing date is midnight Sunday 2nd March 2008
--------------

The winning entry will be chosen by selected independent judges to avoid any favourtism. Remember, make your entry unique or memorable to give yourself a better chance of winning. Any questions are to be sent to Kelvin (pjthefarmer) at socceram.comp@googlemail.com - with the subject title 'Question: SoccerAM Competition', or alternatively PM me on the forums. Best of luck to everyone!

February 2008

After months and months and months of the site and forum being down, and the originally planned site design "launch" being delayed - WE'RE BACK, and the new look is finally here! And so is the launch...

Except, its not really. The idea was to do a proper big style launch affair, with a cushy exclusive competition to go with it, but thats gone out the window now.
Since the forum has been back in action, it appears that a large chunk of the member base has departed due to the downtime and they may never come back. So if you know anyone who used to post on the forums or visit the site but haven't because of its downtime, then let them know that the magic is back. Kind of.

The mere fact that the new design is up and you can read this message means that at least I now have FTP access, which I didn't before.

Cheers
